FINISHING
Bind off all stitches loosely.
Weave in ends and block moderately, pinning to open up the lace. This shawl has the ability to be blocked gently to aggressively. The sample shawl pictured above was blocked aggressively to open up all of the stitches, not just the lace. If you do not care for such an airy look, simply soak and lay flat to dry.

Thank you!
Hi Amy, I’m knitting this right now and I’m curious about the lace section. The pattern only stipulates 8 rows total (4 of the yo k2tog series and 4 of the purl all), but I’m looking at your photos and it seems like you have 7 rows of the yo k2tog series (and presumably 7 of the purl-all rows). Obviously this shawl is highly customizable but I’m curious if I’m reading your knitting correctly. Thanks so much.
Also, I’m using my first order of your 100% merino fingering and it is GORGEOUSLY soft and squishy. What a beautiful base.
Hi Susan,
Thanks so much for reaching out. I believe I knit exactly to pattern, however I think the first row of the lace is not as visually obvious. I’m at work so I don’t have access to it at the moment. Also, in my finished shawl, that lace is highly blocked; it looked very different prior. I am so glad you like the yarn! Please keep in touch and let me know how it goes! I am excited for you!
